Incredible! Plaid seersucker texture ensemble with a nipped in fitted blazer jacket and pleated flared maxi skirt. The tailored jacket has a spiffy notched lapel, etched brass buttons and patch pockets. The skirt is a force in and of itself, with mega volume at the hemline. Bright and bold color palette includes navy, goldenrod and scarlet on a beige maize base, with subtle hints of turquoise and grape within. To make this set even more phenomenal, both pieces were sourced in completely different places, months apart. The sizes are slightly different – the fit is best on more pear shaped gal, OR the skirt can easily be altered to fit a smaller waist. The jacket can also be altered, but it would be a slightly more complex task. By label Sears Jr. Bazaar, circa 1970s.
