Absolutely elegant 1950s silk cocktail dress with impeccable construction, unexpected details, and incredibly luxurious fabric in a rich pine-gray jewel tone. The fitted bodice has a feminine sweetheart neckline, princess seaming, and a unique basket weave style that continues through the cap sleeve for a cut out effect. A classic 1950s cut with a nipped waist and matching belt, the paneled midi length skirt has tons of volume and swishy movement. Made in a unique, textural flocked silk in rich amazonite blue green with an ivory and black expressionistic dot print and intense black velvet geometric patch accents in the folds of the skirt, it is truly a work of art. No labels, gorgeous quality and craftsmanship, circa 1950s.
