Rare and collectible vintage Gucci suitcase in diamante canvas, Gucci’s signature pattern prior to the development of their well known GG monogram pattern in the early 60s. The large size (and well used!) suitcase features walnut brown leather trim and incredible details including a double brass zipper with cool hinge lock at the top center, long leather strap that wraps all the way around and buckles in front, and sturdy brass feet on the base. Inside, there are two buckling straps and a wide gathered pocket along the “ceiling”.

Condition: Good / topical flaws from age throughout but structurally sound. Overall very good condition for it’s age and use! Examine photos closely – minor scuffing to the leather piping and handle, a few small nicks on the edges (see close up pic), spotting on the left side of the canvas, a few spots inside the lining. Hardware works beautifully and all pieces are original.
