Made in a period of wartime rations and so much unknown, this purse surely brought some joy. Ultrabright coiled telephone cord construction with an awesome graphic stripe labyrinth design on both sides. Even the strap and bottom of the midsize bag is decked out with the cords. Skinny brass “Murlen” zipper closure on top with yellow coil loop. Small slip pocket inside. No labels, well made, circa 1940s.
• 10″ wide, 6.5” high, 3” deep, 7″ strap drop
• Phone cables on canvas, Grosgrain lining
• Full zip closure
• Great condition, lightly worn, commensurate with age. The lining near the zipper has some threadbare areas (see pic) and the strap is a little bent to the side.
• Style No. B1675
