Absolutely stunning embellished handpainted silk 2 piece ensemble with shimmering shades of lavender, orchid and magenta. The pattern on both pieces is subtly asymmetrical and organic, with an abstract painterly design dripping in strips of silver and iridescent navy bugle beads, mixed with long lines of purple and lavender sequins. The top is a looser cut with rich bordered embellished v-neck and short sleeves. The skirt is flowy and free, with a defined hip yoke and swishy hem featuring a heavy row of beading and sequins. Works worn as a set, but also really spectacular on their own! Just pair with a more casual seperate – jeans or a a tee. By Judith Ann Creations, Inc., made in India, circa late 1970s/early 1980s.
