Ugh….this is so incredibly gorgeous. Vintage 1940s silk dress with an intriguing spirograph sponge print-esque pattern in royal blue, aqua green and hot magenta on a cream base. Soft tailored drape features a banded collar strong shoulder bodice over a dramatically ruched ruffle skirt, lending a voluminous asymmetrical drape. We did not have the belt for the model pics but this has a matching belt!!! See later pics 🙂 From label “Original Junior Miss of New York”, copyright 1945.
• Size M (see measurements)
• Silk, lightweight fluid drape, crisp and soft feel, gorgeous quality
• Unlined, semi-opaque
• Hook at collar, metal side zipper, belt
• Great condition, truly gorgeous, tiny mark at the waist (pic) that also looks like it could just be part of the print, and will be covered the belt anyways; the belt is a little crackled on the underside
